In the summer your skin is exposed to more sun and needs to be protected. The sun is most intense between 10am - 4pm. Between that time make sure you wear sunscreen of at least SPF 15.
Before you go out in the sun put on your sunscreen 20-30 minutes before exposure. This is because the product needs to absorb into the skin. When you go outside also remember there is NO healthy tan, it is all damaging to your skin. If you want a tan look try a gradual tanning lotion.
